Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed for teachers in early education programs to promote positive guidance methods. It is based on Early Childhood Education 315 supporting children's development of social competence. The course includes strategies for understanding and responding to children's behavior in ways that are congruent with the core values of early childhood education. Concepts of guidance relating to typical and atypical development, culture, and environment will be presented. Parents of young children may also find the course of value.
