Emphasis is placed on development and implementation of comprehensive patient treatment plans, identification of resources to support evidence-based patient care, and critical thinking skills. This course introduces topics related to aging and its implication for health care providers. Emphasis is on socioeconomic and psychological aspects of aging, as well as normal age-related physiological changes.
