In the clinic, students demonstrate various procedures on each other before applying them to patients: children over 5 years old and young adults. Techniques in patient education will be practiced. The lectures include rationale for more difficult traditional dental hygiene skills as students advance from preclinic to DHYG 111 Clinic I.
