    Description
    and Cosmetology Business and Professions Code Section 7321 provides that a student: (a) Is not less than 17 years of age, (b) Has completed the 10th grade in the public schools of this state or its equivalent. This course provides instruction in technical and theoretical knowledge that directly relates to the basic skills of all phases of cosmetology. The course material includes bacteriology, decontamination, hairstyling, haircutting, hair structure, massage, nail structure, nail disease and disorders, PH scale, permanent waving, color wheel, hair-coloring, and hair lightening.
