Also covered are theories addressing atomic and molecular structure and bonding, as well as the physical and chemical properties of gases, liquids, solids, and solutions, including intermolecular forces. One hour per week will be devoted to discussion/problem solving sessions. Laboratory experiments are primarily quantitative, requiring good technique and critical thinking.
