Key principles discussed include basic atomic structure, chemical bonding, equations and reactions, reaction rates and equilibrium, acids and bases, oxidation-reduction, and an introduction to organic chemistry. Components of this course may be offered on-line. Students may be required to have access to a computer and the Internet and have some familiarity with a computer.
