    Description
    concurrent enrollment in MET 375 or MET 376 This course includes basic chemical principles particularly relevant to water and wastewater treatment. Key principles discussed include basic atomic structure, chemical bonding, equations and reactions, reaction rates and equilibrium, acids and bases, oxidation-reduction, and an introduction to organic chemistry. Components of this course may be offered on-line. Students may be required to have access to a computer and the Internet and have some familiarity with a computer.
