Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course is designed for both science and nonscience students to learn about plant taxonomy. Students will learn about the classification of flowering plants, how to identify plant species, and will become familiar with native plants of California as well as their ecological relationships and historical uses. A plant collection and a minimum of 10 field trips are required. Field trip locations may include Table Mountain, Marin Headlands, vernal pool sites, and other locations where plants can be observed in their natural surroundings.Usually HeldFri 8:30am–10:35am, Fri 11:15am–2:25pm, Fri 11:15am–2:30pm
