The course will include glazing, surface treatment, and various firing processes used in clay sculpture. Focus will be placed on in-depth examination of contemporary ceramic sculpture and three-dimensional design. Projects for ART 400 are different from ART 404; they change in rotation from Fall to Spring semester. Students are required to purchase supplies needed for the course at a cost of between $100-150.
