The course will provide students with the further opportunity to explore the technical and creative processes of working on the pottery wheel, such as larger and more complex shapes and greater possibilities for surface development, in terms of firing temperatures and experimenting with multiple layering of glazes. Both functional and sculptural forms will be encouraged. Students are required to purchase supplies needed for the course at a cost of between $100-150.
