It will develop an understanding of the human form as it relates to both modern and traditional sculpture. These concepts will be developed by making studio projects using a variety of sculpture materials. The projects will combine a new understanding of human form with imagination, for a more complete expression of technique and creativity. A field trip to a museum or gallery in the Bay Area is required. There is a $25 materials fee associated with this course. Students are required to purchase needed for the course at a cost of between $100-150.
