The course focuses on global perspectives in the care of critically ill patients; theory and scientific principles related to the following systems: cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, neurological, gastrointestinal, endocrine, hematological, and multiple organ dysfunction; organ procurement; end-of-life; specialized procedures and equipment.
