    Description: Focus on maternal/child nursing concepts necessary in delivering quality, safe, evidence-based patient-centered care, integrating core concepts of professionalism, leadership, caring, collaboration/communication, critical thinking, and informatics, to diverse patient-specific populations including infants, children, childbearing, and childrearing families. Application of knowledge, skills, and attitudes occurs in the clinical nursing skills/simulation labs, deliberate practice, and maternal/child healthcare and community settings. 63.00 hours lecture and 117.00 hours laboratory.
