- Description: Survey of the major style periods and composers in the history of Western music including the study and analysis of musical scores. Designed as a survey of music literature for students who have a working knowledge of musical notation and can follow an open score including the analysis of motives, themes, harmony and form of a composition. 54.00 hours lecture.
