    Description: This course is a historical survey of the United States, from Indigenous North America to the end of Reconstruction. This course also introduces students to historical reasoning skills. This is an honors course. This honors course offers an enriched experience for accelerated students through limited class size, seminar format, focus on primary texts, and application of higher level critical thinking skills. Students may not receive credit for both HIST-C1001 and HIST-C1001H. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
