    Description
    Description: Prepares students for a career in manicuring and pedicuring. An in-depth scientific study of nail care as related to the practice of manicuring and pedicuring, including the State Board of Cosmetology Rules and Regulations and Cosmetology Act; related chemistry; bacteriology; sanitation; disinfection; safety precautions; anatomy and physiology; water and oil manicures; pedicuring, artificial nails (liquid and powder techniques) nail tips, nail wraps and repair. Subsequent enrollment in Section B will provide the student an opportunity for additional skill and competency development within the subject matter. 81.00 hours lecture and 135.00 hours laboratory.
