Within the cybersecurity career path, protocol analysis is used to perform ongoing attacks as well as post attack analysis of network logs and data. This exploratory course provides the students an introduction to protocol analysis. The course will explore ways that protocol analysis can be used to detect and investigate different types of malware and attacks within an organizations network for incident response. 9.00 hours lecture and 9.00 hours laboratory.
