    Description: An introductory course in packaging design for commercial printing. A project-driven and portfolio-development exploration of packaging design which is defined as stylized functional design for carrying, protecting, or presenting a product. Topics include: the Principles and Elements of Design, current packaging design trends, technology, production methodology, sustainability, advanced critical concepts, and professional practices. 36.00 hours lecture and 72.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade only)
