Transfers ToCSUDescriptionDescription: An introduction to criminal case law and precedent as well as judicial review and legal analysis and interpretation. This class will introduce students to legal research, case review and case briefs, and finding, reviewing, and analyzing appellate court case decisions and opinions. Students will learn fundamental precedent cases within criminal justice, criminal investigation, and forensic science, focusing specifically upon case law within the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth, Amendments, as well as pertinent case law related to criminal evidence, criminal pre-trial and trial processes, and law enforcement use-of-force.
