This course emphasizes skills in gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and flux cored arc welding (FCAW). The course also focuses on safety, theory, characteristics and settings for power supplies and wire feeding units, electric current settings, electrode identification and selection, welding positions, and welding of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
