The course examines the following: the audience, theatre spaces, actors, directors, producers, playwrights, dramatic structure, dramatic characters, theatrical genres, theatrical forms, criticism, and the design elements of scenery, costume, make-up, lighting, and sound. Students will see a college and/or professional theatre production.
