    Description
This support course is designed to develop the mathematical knowledge and study skills necessary for successful completion of Introduction to Statistics (STAT C1000). Students must be concurrently enrolled in a section of STAT C1000 to take this support course. Topics from algebra and intermediate algebra are covered to build a foundation for college-level statistics. Strategic reading, critical thinking and problem-solving are incorporated to build the strategies needed to solve contextualized problems. Topics in the area of study skills are also included to support students in a college-level math course. This is a non-degree applicable course offered on a pass/no pass basis.
