Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis support course is designed to develop the mathematical knowledge and study skills necessary for successful completion of Introduction to Statistics (STAT C1000). Students must be concurrently enrolled in a section of STAT C1000 to take this support course. Topics from algebra and intermediate algebra are covered to build a foundation for college-level statistics. Strategic reading, critical thinking and problem-solving are incorporated to build the strategies needed to solve contextualized problems. Topics in the area of study skills are also included to support students in a college-level math course.
