This course covers approved materials for the installation of a variety of fuel gas distribution systems and appliances, sizing of fuel gas distribution systems based on the Uniform Plumbing Code longest length and branch length methods at multiple pressures for natural gas and for propane, and calculating the proper amount of air for combustion. Students will be expected to size fuel gas systems, identify approved materials and locate and apply appropriate code sections to facilitate proper installations.
