    PAC 065 Pursuant to Section 13511.5 of the California Penal Code, each student who is not sponsored by a local or other law enforcement agency, must submit written certification from the California Department of Justice certifying no criminal history background which would disqualify the student pursuant to Section 12021.1 P.C

    Description
    This course is designed to provide the student employed or seeking employment in public agencies with the skills and information necessary to satisfy state requirements for the PC 832 Firearms course which covers firearms safety, care, cleaning, shooting and qualification. This course can be taken alone or in combination with PAC 025, PC 832 Arrest and/or PAC 027, PC 832 Communications/Arrest to satisfy varying agency requirements. The curriculum follows that recommended as refresher training by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.
