Description: This course provides an overview of common health insurance terminology and selected aspects of private and government insurance coverage. The course introduces basic principles of diagnostic and outpatient procedural coding of physician/provider documentation. Students learn how to originate accurate and efficient reimbursement medical insurance claims for services provided.
