Topics include land values and their characteristics, the process of appraising, capitalization theory, site analysis, and construction methods. Students gain guided practice in accrued depreciation analysis, income and expense analysis, and techniques in the income approach method of appraising. This course is approved by the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) to meet the elective education requirements for the California Real Estate Salesperson License and the California Real Estate Broker License.
