Course topics include overview of property laws, land descriptions, titles, acquisition and transfer, liens and encumbrances, taxation, contract law, landlord and tenant laws, and real estate mathematics and finance. Students will become familiar with terminology and forms commonly used in everyday real estate transactions. This course is approved by the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) to fulfill education requirements for the California Real Estate Salesperson License.
