    Description
    This survey course is designed for students who seek an introduction to the musical genre, or style, of rock and roll. The course focuses on rock and roll music, its origins, and the many sub-styles that have shaped its evolution. The social, political, and economic influence rock and roll music has had on society and other types of music are also examined.
