    Description
    This support course is designed to develop the mathematical knowledge and study skills necessary for successful completion of College Algebra (MATH 160). Students must be concurrently enrolled in a College Algebra course to take this support course. Topics from intermediate algebra are covered to build a foundation for success in college-level algebra. Strategic reading, critical thinking, and problem-solving are incorporated to build the strategies needed to solve contextualized problems. Topics in the area of study skills and meta-cognition are also included to support students in a college-level math course. This is a non-degree applicable course offered on a pass/no pass basis.
