Emphasis is placed on the history and cultural contributions of Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, and American women. This course is intended for students who want to fulfill the American Institutions requirement for the associate degree (Title 5, Section 40404) and CSU requirements, as well as students want to increase their understanding of the history of minorities in the United States. This course is a restricted elective for the Associate in Arts in History for Transfer (AA-T).
