Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to the core principles and practices of financial management within organizations. Topics include financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and forecasting; capital structure and cost of capital; time value of money; risk and return; and decision-making for investments, and financing. Students will gain the skills needed to make informed financial decisions that maximize the value of a firm, preparing them for roles in finance management. This course is designed for students interested in pursuing a Finance Certificate of Achievement and/or entry-level positions in corporate finance.
