Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course provides students with an understanding of the types of conflict situations that may be encountered while working in a correctional facility. The following topics may be discussed as they pertain to the correctional experience: anxiety, fear, frustration, hostility, aggression, motivation and manipulation roles, racial and cultural segregation, crowd and mob interaction, alcohol, drugs, sexual problems, character, neurotic and psychotic disorders, youthful offenders, stress of incarceration, and brain disorders.
