The course covers the basic techniques and procedures associated with frame systems and tube and clamp scaffold components used in industrial settings. A major focus of the course is construction practices and safety considerations, including general plant operating conditions and hazards. Upon successful completion of the course students are issued a United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) Scaffold Qualification Card (standard 40-hour training).
