The course covers the basic techniques and procedures used to erect tube and clamp scaffolds, with construction practices and safety considerations as a major focus of the course. Scaffold standards and industry-wide, enforced regulations are presented and utilized in hands-on projects. Students identify tube and clamp scaffold components, access, inspection, and assembly and disassembly procedures, and install components for multi-bay and multi-tier scaffolds according to industry standards.
