The course covers the classifications, types, models, codes, and uses for accident hazard exit (i.e., “panic”) devices and fire exit devices. A range of security products and door hardware used in the industry (e.g., crossbars, latches, flush bolts, and kick plates) are discussed, and the proper selection, installation, and adjustment techniques for selected devices are included.
