    Description
This course is designed to meet the needs of indentured apprentices with the State of California who are interested in the carpentry industry. The course covers the installation processes for several types of security and exit door hardware. Topics include electrical and card reader systems, and emphasis is placed on print interpretation, codes, door schedules, symbols, and hardware recognition. Students use the methods and procedures they learn to install selected door and hardware systems.
