The course covers all aspects of the installation process, from constructing storefront openings through placing glass components into the commercial storefront metal framing. Emphasis is placed on print interpretation, window and door schedules, and symbols and material recognition. Key discussions draw attention to typical problems, causes, and solutions encountered during the glazing assembly and installation processes. In-class training takes up glazing tools and techniques, applicable building/fire codes, layout accuracy, and proper fit and alignment.
