    Description
This course is designed to meet the needs of indentured apprentices with the State of California who are interested in the carpentry industry. The course covers the basic skills needed for reading and interpreting construction prints. Material focuses on developing students’ ability to interpret two-dimensional views to convey the shape and characteristics of construction elements and to provide an overview of the scope of the project. Students learn how to recognize standard drawing methods and pictorial views, and how to read visual and verbal communication cues.
