Particular emphasis is placed on planning field activities. Topics include the functions of patrol, traffic, and other preliminary investigative duties of the field officer. The techniques of planning for patrol operations and handling requests for service, vehicular traffic-related problems, and civil and domestic disturbances are also presented.
