Students will obtain a working knowledge of electric/hybrid vehicles, fast battery charging, smart grids, and microgrids. Renewable energy (solar and wind), peak shaving, and reduction of energy consumption will also be discussed. Students will design and build a renewable energy system with an energy storage solution.
