Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis short-term course provides an overview of the Associate Degree Nursing Program. The focus is on successful learning strategies and the development of critical thinking skills. An overview of the systems developmental stress model is included as a framework for the nursing process and the Associate Degree Nursing curriculum. Also included is an in-depth study of the nursing process including physical assessment, nursing diagnosis, interventions and evaluations. The nursing skills required for physical assessment and basic patient care will be presented.
