- Description
- This advanced course prepares students to pass their inclined (6G) certification test. Students will use AWS and American Petroleum Instutute (API) standard 1104 procedures. Emphasis will be on open root groove welds on pipe using the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). Students will use E6010 and E7018 electrodes along with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
