    Description
    This course is an introduction to Microsoft Access - a database management system. Students will learn how to: design and use databases by creating tables, queries, forms and reports; create relationships between tables; and sort and filter data. Businesses use relational databases to manage their data. This course prepares students to understand and use Microsoft Access and databases in general, thereby assisting them in workforce preparation. Four (4) high school elective credits may be awarded if a student passes the course with a minimum grade of 70% or achieves a minimum score of 85% on a challenge course by exam.
