Emphasis is placed on the concepts within each domain including:physical growth and development, psychosocial development, cognitive development, metabolism, cellular regulation, perfusion, reproduction, infection, comfort, emergencies, oxygenation, inflammation, safety and infection control, diversity, health promotion, communication, professional behaviors, clinical reasoning/judgment, and ethics.
