    Description
    Setup and operation of numerically controlled lathe with emphasis on the application of the Fanuc controlled machine and CNC machining methods used in the industry. This course provides students with hands-on training in CNC lathe machine setup and operation. Emphasis is placed on proper tooling, machine preparation, workholding, and safe operation of CNC lathe. Students must enroll in one of the MNFG 096 lab sections concurrently. The lab requires 1.5 hours per week (0.5 units), for a total of 27 scheduled lab hours per semester to earn credit.
