Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course introduces students to the structure and practice of the American legal system through the simulation of a courtroom trial. Students will actively participate as attorneys, witnesses, and jurors in mock trials to gain hands-on experience in trial procedures, legal research, case preparation, courtroom etiquette, and argumentation. The course emphasizes critical thinking, courtroom presentation, while offering insight into legal careers such as litigation, criminal law, and legal advocacy. Field trip may be required.
