Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course is designed to broaden students’ understanding of the experiences of four groups in American history: Native Americans, Black or African Americans, Asian Americans and Latino Americans. By studying historical and contemporary issues of race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, and culture, students will build empathy for individuals, solidarity with these and other historically-marginalized groups of Americans, and become more conscious about their own personal connections to American history.
