- This course is a historical survey of the United States from the end of the Civil War to the present. The course also introduces students to historical reasoning skills. Includes industrial and technological development, the changing nature of society, cultural developments, domestic politics, and America's expanded world role. Formerly: HIST 121 - The United States since 1865.
