Topics include routine tests, inspections, and servicing functions; producing hand, master, and foam fire streams, relay pump operations; and supplying water to fire sprinkler and standpipe systems. This course is designed for career and volunteer fire service personnel who drive and operate a fire department pumping apparatus. This course is based on the 201 edition of NFPA 1002 Standard for Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Professional Qualifications. This course satisfies partial requirements for OSFM certification for Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator - Pumping Apparatus. Materials fee may be required. Not offered every semester.
