    Description
    This intermediate level course focuses on learning open choreography for the five Latin competition dances: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. The goal is to develop strong technical skills while also expressing the character of each dance. Students will practice the choreography and techniques for these dances and will be expected to perform them in exhibitions and showcases. Students will refine these intermediate-advanced skills in open routines with a partner and as a Latin Formation Team. Recommended Preparation: Completion with a grade of "C" or better or a Passing grade in: DNCE 126B. This course is a preparation for advancing to DNCE 226B.
