    Description
    Continued studies of Latin Ballroom Fundamentals that focuses on learning closed Bronze, Silver, and Gold choreography of the five Latin competition dances: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. Students will study the body mechanics, timing, footwork, partnering, style and emotion of this dance category at the beginning-intermediate level. The students will apply this training to warm up routines, school figures, and choreography in a classroom competition and showcase setting. Recommended Preparation: Completion with a grade of "C" or better or a Passing grade in: DNCE 126A. This course is a preparation for advancing to DNCE 226A.
